The Curved Façade

02

A residential building defined by sweeping, sculptural curves that soften its concrete mass. Flowing balcony edges and a central carved spine give the façade a sense of quiet movement.

This residence breaks away from the orthogonal language of its surroundings through a series of fluid, scalloped balcony slabs that curve and cascade down the elevation, creating a soft, almost organic rhythm. At its centre, a sculptural concrete spine pierced with circular openings frames a slender cypress, drawing the eye upward and lending the building a distinctive vertical signature. Warm beige and sand-toned plaster wraps the structure, complemented by timber-clad soffits, dark metal screens and full-height glazing that opens each apartment to generous, light-filled terraces. Lush planting spills from the balconies and roof gardens, reinforcing the dialogue between architecture and landscape, while a recessed ground level discreetly accommodates parking and entrances. By day the curves cast shifting shadows across the façade; by night, warm interior light reveals the building's softness — a calm, contemporary presence that feels both grounded and effortlessly elegant.
