In Cyprus, life happens outside for most of the year — which makes the garden, the courtyard and the terrace rooms in their own right, not leftover space around a building. We design them with the same care as interiors: where the shade falls in August, where the water sits, where you eat in October.
The climate sets the rules and we work with it, not against it. Pergolas and trees placed for the sun's path, planting that thrives on little water, hard surfaces that stay walkable in summer heat. The landscape is drawn together with the architecture, so the threshold between inside and outside almost disappears.
And because a landscape is the one part of a project that keeps changing, we design for its tenth year, not its first photograph — species that mature well, materials that weather gracefully, and a garden that asks for care, not constant correction.
