Layered Terraces Residences

05

A residential building defined by deep, layered terraces with warm timber soffits and cascading greenery. A central carved slot frames a single cypress, splitting the façade into two mirrored wings.

This residential development is organised around a series of broad, horizontal terrace slabs whose undersides are lined in warm timber, creating a richly layered façade that alternates light concrete, glass and wood. Each balcony is generously planted, with greenery spilling over the edges so that vegetation becomes part of the architecture rather than an afterthought. At the centre, a sculptural vertical slot — punctuated by a circular opening — splits the building into two symmetrical wings and frames a tall cypress that rises through the full height of the composition. Rounded balcony corners and slender vertical fins soften the geometry and add rhythm, while integrated linear lighting traces the timber soffits and brings the façade to life at dusk. A dark marble base grounds the building at street level, housing the entrance and parking, and mature landscaping wraps the perimeter. The result is a warm, contemporary residence where structure, light and planting are woven together into a calm yet expressive whole.
